Contrail App installation fails

If you encounter a setup failure with the Contrail App, don't worry. Here's how you can troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

Check for Contrail.exe

First, navigate to the folder where the Contrail App is installed to see if the "Contrail.exe" file exists. The default path is usually:

C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\ContrailApp

If you find the "Contrail.exe" file, try launching the app directly from here. You might also be able to find it via the Start Menu when typing "Contrail".

SquirrelSetup.log

If the app or the "Contrail.exe" file cannot be located, and the app still fails to launch, look for a "SquirrelSetup.log" file within the same folder:

C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local\ContrailApp

Manual Installation

You can also install the Contrail App manually. Download the latest version here: ContrailApp-Packed-latest.zip. Extract the ContrailApp folder to this location:

C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Local
